Hello Jigsaw Fan! Why join the BCD?
The Benevolent Confraternity of Dissectologists is a club for jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts. Our members range from those who enjoy doing all sorts of jigsaws (aka “Dissectologists”) to others who have detailed knowledge of their manufacture and history.
Membership benefits include:
- Take part in our sociable puzzling gatherings – we arrange four meetings per year in various parts of the UK, including a house party weekend. You’ll see a wide variety of unusual and beautiful wooden and cardboard puzzles – some vintage, some new. You can try something different, exchange information, and buy or sell jigsaw puzzles.
- Participate in virtual meetings showcasing members’ puzzle interests – we run a couple per year.
- Receive “Jigsaw Pieces” (quarterly full-colour magazine). Non-Members can now view free examples of our Magazines here from Spring 2019 and Summer 2020.
Spring 2019 
Summer 2020 - Access the Members section of the BCD website, including the magazine archive (from the first issue in 1985 when the club was founded) and other resources.
- Join our Facebook & Flickr groups to share photos and information with fellow members (both UK & Worldwide).
